 Farm update:

You may have heard that we are transitioning away from a vegetable focused operation to our Meishan Hog herd.

In this ever changing climate and economy, the Farm Team and myself are trying to figure out how to pivot in order to keep the farm going. Post covid we had a good 2 years of growing, but these last two seasons have forced us to rethink how we do business.  We will keep you updated on social media and here on our website.  There’s a decent chance we might be financially forced to grow more veggies this season (2025). Stay tuned!

ORDER ONLINE

You can now Pre-Order vegetables through our online store for Saturday Pick-up at the farm or at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market! Subscripe to our email list below and we will email you each week on Monday a list of what we have available!

Pastured Meishan hogs

We proudly raise Meishan hogs on our farm. We are a huge supporter of this endangered heritage breed. Their meat is much darker and richer than traditional pork! All our hogs are born and raised on the farm, with lots of love and veggie scraps! We think you can taste the difference. Try it for yourself.

THE FARM

Rodgers Greens and Roots Farm is a certified organic farm, located 30 minutes southwest of Atlanta in Douglasville, Georgia, on 64 acres of historic farmland along the Chattahoochee River. Currently, 16 acres of flat clay-loam soil are under cultivation using organic practices. We primarily grow greens, roots, summer fruits, herbs and pasture raised meishan hogs.

ABOUT US
